Redmond class action urges C. Oregonians to ‘adopt a school’

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Redmond Collective Action is asking people in Central Oregon to show their love and support and encourage teachers, staff and students by adopting a local school for a week!

We start on March 7 with Hugh Hartman Elementary! From March 7 to March 10, show your support with the following ideas:

· Send cheer cards

· Donate to music, art and ESL programs

Donate craft supplies such as stickers, colored/designed paper, glitter glue, googly eyes

· Donate books for libraries, including books in foreign languages (especially in Spanish)

Donate school supplies like notebook paper, notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, erasers, tissues, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer

Donate gift cards to local stores like Herringbone Books, Roundabout Books, Fred Meyer

Together we can show that supporting our schools is supporting our COMMUNITY!
