PHOTOS: See how a reopened gift shop has changed at Disney World!

Since the closure in March 2020 and the phased reopening that began in July 2020, Disney World has gradually reopened most stores, restaurants and hotels.

Today we noticed the last reopening, but there is something different about this place now.

The Merchant of Venus The Goods Shop has reopened in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland! However, it looks very different now.

It is open!

Instead of a gift shop this place is now an indoor seating area. The lounge area is connected to Aunt Gravity’s galactic goodies and has been redecorated with Tomorrowland attraction-themed posters.

New decor!

This newly opened seating area provides much-needed tables, chairs and air conditioning for the surrounding dining areas, including Auntie Gravity’s and the Notepad. Here is an overview of the space.

Lots of room here

Next time you’re in Tomorrowland and need a place to cool off, rest your feet, or sit down and dine, check out the Merchant of Venus to see if it’s open for your relaxation. .
